This is where we drew oil
for the feed line from. Note the nut attached to the oil filter assembly.
From the 2H factory
manual we determined there
was an oil pressure valve below this nut so we figured oil would be present
there.
We also figured if it wasn't
present or the pressure wasn't good enough, that we could simply replace
the nut
and put it back the way
it was. So we drilled it, treaded the hole, and with oil-proof teflon
tape installed the
bung that allowed us to
attach the oil feed line for the turbo.
We then atached a pressure
gauge at the end to test for oil pressure and it immediately shot up beyond
our gauge's
limits at 60. 25 PSI
in poil pressure is considered excellent so we knew this would be a great
source for the oil
for the turbo. About
600 kilometers later now it's still doing great and still shows great pressure.
