Racor Filters

This is a 230 Racor Filter.
I have 120, 230s, and 490s for sale, complete as seen for $105 including
tax and shipping...
These are Racor fuel filter
/ seperator units, leftover surplus from a dealer who went out of business.
They normally go for more than $200-$250 new. I have brand new 120 (100
series), 230 (200 series), and 490 (400 series) filter/seperators. The
100 is non heated and not self priming, but is little in size and will
fit in a variety of places. It will also work for anything up to about
7 or 8 liters in size, but are perfect for as small as VWs, but works with
even a GM V8 diesel and other "light trucks." The 200 and 400 have priming
pumps and include heater elements. Water sensors can be used in place of
the heater element. The 200 and 400 work with diesel only, while the 100
works with diesel and gasoline. The 200 and 400 are larger in size which
is why the 100 is sometimes more appealing. The 200 will still fit in a
variety of locations (see pict below) while the 400 measures almost a foot
long. Each can be used in pressurized or vaccuum setups. Check the Racor
Filters Web Site for more information on each filter including specs.
(a new window will open). Filter/Seperators units (for each of ALL THREE
SIZES) are $105 each including shipping and tax.
They are great for replacing
your tired filter and/or seperator on a diesel truck or car, or for repowering
a formerly gasoline truck to diesel. The filters themselves (between clear
bottom and seperators housing) are not reusable but of course the housings
are. They also work with bio fuels and other alternative fuel sources for
diesel engines.
The 120A includes a 10 micron
filter, the 230 includes a 30 micron filter, and the 490 includes a 10
micron filter. Additional filters can be bought through me for $15-20 depending
on application and filtration size. Also contact me directly, 2, 10 and
30 micron filters are available for all filter sizes. 2 is the smallest
and offers the best protection but clogs fastest. I would recommend a 2
if this is your primary filter. 10 and 30 also provide decent protection
and clog less. If you are looking for an "all around" filter then you want
a 10, or possibly a 2. Contact me if interested, andre@collegeinternetsolutions.com
or call me at (435) 631 0021. I am not a dealer but purchased them in bulk
because they were inexpensive.
These filters are still in
production and are not compromised in any way. The best method of payment
for immediate shipping is via paypal, but I also take checks but will have
to wait for them to clear. I also take Money Orders for faster shipment.
They normally run about $250
I believe. I found a cheap local lead on these from a place that
was going out of business and bought out most of them. The 120 (smallest)
includes a 10 micron filter included), 200 series (with 30 micron filter
included) and 400 series (with 10 micron filter included). I can
also get replacement filters for about $15-20 each in 2, 10, or 30 micron.
