All About Turbos and
Diesel Applications
There's no real clear and
easy source for information on diesel engine turbo conversions and all
I can say is if planning a turbo conversion, it should not be taken lightly
and good research must be done! You might want to check out this
page on a HJ60 turbo conversion.
If your engine is piston skirt cooled
it also makes a better candidate for turbo charging.
Turbos in diesel applications
very a whole lot less you have to worry about when compared to a turbo
setup in a gasser and honestly I think all diesels should be turbo charged
due to it's relative installation ease and lack of side effects (though
a naturally aspirated diesel is easier for daily driving).
